TECHNOLOGICAL ERROR?

As time went by, we can clearly see the step-by-step improvement in the field of science and technology. Communication, transportation and even entertainment have progressed. Things are now fast and easy to do. Thanks to the inventors of technology who worked tirelessly for the benefit of mankind.

One of the results of technology is the invention of computers. Computers can greatly help us in our everyday activities. We can communicate with other people from far places, do some research or even play games for entertainment in your computer. That is why we can see many internet cafes around for the convenience of the people who cannot afford to buy one.

In status quo, we can see that these internet cafes have became a tool for the degradation of the educational activities of students. It is because of the computer games that is poisoning the minds of the youth. During breaks, weekends or even school hours, we can see bundles of students flooding internet cafes and playing those computer games. Instead of going to school, they spend long hours staying in internet cafes. Instead of using their money for important purposes, they spend it all in these places just to play their “crave-to-play” games. They are not aware of the consequences of their actions. They are only thinking of the enjoyment they can get from these fantasy-based computer games.

Our parents send us to school for us to learn and to be educated. They give us money to be used only for good and important purposes. They are doing these to give us a comfortable life in the near future. They don't want us to suffer when we grow up. But what are we doing? We are doing the opposite. We are putting all their efforts to waste by spending long hours and money in internet cafes. We should even give our gratitude to them for giving us all these things. Stopping this habit and studying properly should be done as a way of giving gratitude to our parents.

We are not totally saying that these games are bad. The cooperation from teachers, parents and even the students is needed. There should be a constant supervision of parents and teachers in order to stop this delinquency among students. Disciplinary action should be done in early signs of delinquency.

Their action may be small but it can lead to bigger problems. We must act now. Computer games are not the number one enemy but the addiction of the students is.
